VISION
A leader in the telecommunications industry wanted to market a new phone with the intent of capturing more of the market. This new product was built to store any prepaid-specific information on handsets, send prepaid codes to the handset and enable handset-based redemptions.
CHALLENGES
Everett Consulting Company (ECC) was brought in to assist in the reproduction of every function of the previous product and apply it to the new product. ECC and this organization worked together to reproduce every signal IT system they had in their infrastructure (ex. billing centers, call centers, etc.)
TECHNICAL PROCESS
IT Development
Everett Consulting Company (ECC) provided a design and implementation of functionalities for IVR (Interactive Voice Response), WEB and WEB CSR (Call Service Representative) to support this new product functionality. These capabilities included both Web (front end) functions as well as Clarify (back end) functions. Back-end functions were replicated from the previous product but required new scripts for the new product. IT development can also create reports as needed.
RESULT
The new product has been released into the market and the infrastructure has been set up to support the product within the businesses operations. Everett Consulting Company was more specifically responsible for delivering three functions and did so in a minimal amount of time:
- Website infrastructure and network
- WEBCSR (WEB Call Service Representative) a web application developed to monitor customers and accounts
- IDR (Interactive Voice Response System)
The existing infrastructure was cloned and modified to reflect the new brand and the project was a success.
